📢This digital library📚 is a collection of opensource software packages, applications and technical articles. Membership is free 🎉

🚀Motivation

There are many opensource and commercial sources to gather information about Data science/AI/ML/Cognitive Sciences on the internet. Over the past few years, the author was contacted by many people who were curious to understand about this field. Additionally, the author personally responded to more than 30 questions on Stack Overflow regarding questions from software developers who were working on Data science/AI/ML/Cognitive Sciences. This led the author to believe that there is a need for collaboration between people who are interested in this field and those who have been in this field for quite some time now. To this extent, foyi digital library attempts to respond to this need by offering a membership program.

What are the benefits of this membership?
  1. Access to a (1-on-1) 30 minute session with the author. This session could be used to get information about the field of data science or could be about a perspective/approach to solving a specific problem at hand.
  2. Learn R/Python by contributing to the packages. This digital library will continue to build opensource software packages. As a member, you can partipate in contributing to the opensource packages and get your name cited in that package. You may not have background in R/Python and hence the author will spend time to help you along the way. This means more 1-on-1 time with the author.
Will I get a certificate of course completion?

No. One would get much better than a certificate. When one contributes to the R or Python package, the package home page will have your name as one of the authors. One could use this information in resumes or mention it in your masters’ thesis.

Will I get any course material to study?

No. This membership is for those who are seriously interested in hands-on learning with a specific purpose in mind. There are many free courses or youtube videos to understand opensource software in theory.

What if I am not sure of contributing yet but would like to have a 30 minute 1-on-1 session?

Just subscribe to this library by submitting your email ID towards the end of this page.

Note: This library currently has just one author and hence the author commits to provide 1-on-1 sessions up to a maximum of 20 members to begin with. However, the author would try to reach out to more members from time to time. You would hear 📧 from the author for scheduling 📆 the meeting time.
